“Cumaccha comes from Ayabaca in Peru's Piura region, where coffee was long undervalued locally until tasters and buyers recognised the complexity growers there were already producing. This natural lot is a selection of varieties from across the district, dried slowly with the fruit intact. Roasted by NewGround Coffee in Oxford and sold by Epoch Chemistry in Moncton, it is fruit-forward and jammy: cherry, cranberry and apricot.”
