“Dragonfly's Kenya peaberry comes from Muranga County, where smallholders growing SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11 and Batian deliver cherry that is fully washed and dried before the round peaberry seeds are sorted out on their own. The lot is sold as Kenya Small Lot Reserve and roasted medium-light, built around aromatics of citrus and bergamot. The cup is a lively, complex one: citrus, stone fruit and lychee over a balanced medium body and velvety mouthfeel, finishing with white peach, apricot and clean sweetness. Dragonfly roasts it to order on Thursdays.”
