“Copacabana is a colony of 35 families in the Caranavi region where coffee is the primary income. This specific lot is a washed, anaerobic processed blend from three female producers — Carmelita Aduviri, Juana Gonzales, and Mercedes Condini — part of Agricafé's Sol de la Mañana mentorship program. Cherries are picked by day, selected each evening at 5 pm, and driven to the Buena Vista Wet Mill. The oxygen-free fermentation enhances the acids in the cup, and the project creates new career opportunities for women across specialty coffee.”
