“Hadeso washing station sits at 1,850m in Shakisso woreda, Guji Zone. Around 500 smallholders deliver cherries to the station. Only the ripest cherries are hand-picked, sorted twice, then dried on raised beds in thin layers with frequent turning. Cherries reach target moisture after 15-18 days, then rest before export.”
