Highlights
“A wet-hulled Sumatran lot from Lintong Nihuta, built from the harvest of 57 smallholder farmers in the community of Pak Keiza and Ibu Mega, whose families are Batak and have worked in coffee for generations. The blend of Arabigo, Gayo III and Sigararutang is grown at around 1,300 metres and processed giling basah: ripe cherries are pulped the same day, fermented overnight, sun-dried for only one or two days, then hulled while the parchment is still around 40% moisture before finishing to 12.5-13%. Two rounds of hand-sorting remove defects before export.”
