“Crankhouse's first Guatemalan of the year comes from Vanessa Braun Valle's Finca Concepción in Jalapa, a farm dating to 1890 that only recently began planting specialty varieties. This lot was harvested as a field blend of Geisha (planted 2019) and Pacamara (2020), fermented for 36 hours, washed, soaked and dried for about 15 days on the cement patio.”
