“From the Shakiso area of Ethiopia's Guji Zone, this lot comes through Samuel Demisse of Keffa Coffee and producer Ejegayehu Bekele, alongside the smallholders who work with her. What draws us to Shakiso is the way it holds two things at once: the tea-like delicacy and bright florals that define high-quality Ethiopian coffee, and a tropical richness that feels specific to this corner of Guji. The washed process lets both come through cleanly—structured and refined but never simple.”
