“Finca La Bendicion sits in the Dipilto-Jalapa mountain range in Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua, with 105 acres planted to coffee across varieties including Caturra, Red Catuai, Pacamara, Maracaturra, SL-34 and Java. The farm has loose sandy soil with abundant humus and 1,400-1,600 mm of annual rainfall. For the natural lots, cherries are carefully picked, floated and then taken to Beneficio Las Segovias to dry on African beds for 25-30 days. Luis Alberto has placed 1st and 5th in 2018, 1st in 2020, 3rd in 2022 and 6th in 2021 and this year at the Cup of Excellence.”
