“Finca El Jardin is located in the community of Ojos de Agua, Concepción de Soledad, La Paz, Honduras, managed by Mario Mejía, a 24-year-old fourth-generation coffee grower. The farm spans 32 hectares at 1,650 meters above sea level with around 100,000 coffee trees. This Parainema natural lot is handpicked and selected, placed in grain-pro bags for 24 hours before drying, then dried on African beds for 15 to 30 days depending on weather. Mario launched the Specialty Program in his region in January 2019 and built his own wet mill in 2023, offering processing services to other producers.”
