“Kercha is a privately owned processing station near Kercha, close to Uraga in Ethiopia's southern Guji Zone, working with more than 1,500 smallholder farmers through an outgrower programme that supplies seedlings and agricultural support. Cherries are dried in the whole fruit, yet the cup stays lifted and clean rather than heavy or jammy: fresh citrus, pink and purple florals and a delicate black tea finish, much closer to a washed Ethiopian profile.”
