“Hambela Buliye is a natural-processing site at 2,150-2,200m in Guji, managed by Kedir and Esmael Hassan. It works with approximately 200 registered smallholder farmers from surrounding kebeles. Unlike most Ethiopian washing stations, Buliye produces only natural-process coffees, allowing it to operate at extreme elevation right alongside the farms. The extended 3-4 week drying period on raised beds builds saturated fruit and sweetness while maintaining structure and acidity.”
