“An excellent example of traditional Indonesian wet hulling, a method employed to address high humidity, typhoons, and heavy rainfall. Mandheling is named after the Mandailing people of northern and western Sumatra. Grown by multiple smallholder farmers north of Lake Toba and prepared as a double pick, hand sorted twice to remove defects. The cup is low in acidity with a heavy body.”
