Highlights
“Los Lajones Estate sits on the southwest slopes of Volcan Baru in Boquete, Panama, a 40-hectare coffee farm interwoven with roughly 100 hectares of primary cloud forest and managed by agronomist Graciano Cruz Landero. The Bambu Gesha block was planted in 2008 under oak shade; trees reach up to three metres, so pickers use ladders to take only the ripest cherries. Ripe cherries are pulped without water, keeping a controlled layer of mucilage, then dried on African beds for 10-15 days and rested 45-60 days before dry milling. Limited release of 35 bags, roasted one bag at a time on a ROEST.”
