“Gathaithi is both the washing station that processed this coffee and the local Farmers Cooperative Society whose members grow it, mainly SL28 and SL34 with a little Ruiru 11, at 1,700 metres in Nyeri. The lot is a fully washed AA, disc-depulped, fermented and dried on beds, and CETO puts the cup at tree tomato, jasmine green tea and red grape. Funk sits at 0.5/5 and processing at 0.5/5 - a clean, tea-like Kenyan. Imported by Sweet Marias; CETO paid 9/lb for the green.”
