“CETO's first Gesha from Honduras and its first Gesha release in a while, an entirely organic lot from Raul Rodriguez's Santa Lucia Reserve in Comayagua, grown at 1,650 masl. Rodriguez is a third-generation producer who farms there with his wife and three dogs; the certified-organic farm employs around 75 pickers in harvest and 15 permanent workers who live on site, and he pays the highest wages in the region while donating part of his direct-sale profits to rebuild the local school's kitchen and electricity. In the cup CETO finds jasmine and magnolia up front, blackberry and dark fruit through the middle, and a rose finish, with white grape and honeybush tea rounding it out.
