Highlights
“La Ilusión is Andrés Cardona's family farm, passed down through generations and now home to his parents in Santa Bárbara, a small town an hour and a half from Medellín. Andrés wants to turn it into a processing facility where local farmers can take differentiated lots. This Castillo from Huila was fermented in cherry in open tanks for 72 hours, then depulped and fermented another 130 hours with its own coffee juice and water before being sealed. CETO puts the cup at florals, Rainier cherries and sugarcane, with funk at 3/5 and processing at 3/5. Imported by Unblended; CETO paid 12.20/lb for the green.”
