Highlights
“Coffee has been in Manuel Marlo Baca's family for four generations: he farms land in Roblepampa, in Peru's Amazonas region, that came down from his great-grandparents, alongside relatives including his cousin Roiber Becerra. Since 2017 he has been putting his own stamp on Finca Pacpa, a 1,850-metre farm shaded by pine, cedar and guabo trees where Bourbon, Geisha and Pacamara grow. For this lot the cherries rest 18 hours in GrainPro bags, are pulped and ferment another 18 hours in tanks, then dry 25-30 days under solar dryers. Importer Khipu Coffee found Manuel on Instagram and bought his entire Pacamara harvest.”
