Highlights
“Finca Zacatlami placed Top 3 at the 2026 Mexico Cup of Excellence. Cherries were harvested on April 18 during the new moon; after picking, the mucilage was removed and the sugars exposed to oxidation for three days before a roughly 15-day drying on African beds under carefully controlled shade and light. The restrained process lets the Gesha varietal express itself freely, adding intensity and delicate caramel notes. Aroma recalls maple or coastal honey with jasmine, chamomile, and a touch of orange, closing with subtle menthol and almond. Origin: Veracruz, Totutla. Producers: Miguel Castelán y Helina Tress. Process: Honey, Lote 2526. Altitude: 1,450 masl.”
