“Yunlan comes from Yunnan, China, grown by Hongjun Zhang between 1,600 and 1,800 metres. The lot is a Purple Typica processed as a natural, which on this variety reads vinous rather than overtly fruity: winey acidity and oak barrel, then black tea and the sweetness of dried dates. It sits in People Possession's Unlisted Series, roasted for filter and sold as a 200 g bag.”
