“Fellows Farms is a producer partnership program from Inmaculada Coffee Farms, the Holguín family estate founded in 2010 in the village of Pichindé, in the Andean foothills of Farallones National Park outside Cali. Inmaculada works alongside neighbouring smallholders, sharing agronomy and harvesting expertise and buying ripe cherry directly at the farm for a premium of 30% or more over market. Inmaculada then handles transport, drying, fermentation and milling in its own facilities, so partner farmers skip the cost of a wet mill and get paid sooner.”
