“Kimatu Factory in Njukiini, Kirinyaga, sits within the Rwama Farmers Cooperative Society, and this AB lot is built from as many as 800 smallholders delivering cherry to the station. It is a traditional Kenya double wash: cherries are mechanically depulped and fermented overnight in open-air concrete tanks, then washed a second time to strip excess mucilage before drying. AB is only a screen-size separation, and this one reads less acid-forward, leaving room for the florals. Roasted 22 October 2026.”
