Highlights
“Sasaba is a washing station in the Kercha district of Guji run by Tsegay Hagos Tesfaye, reached by driving past Yirgacheffe and through the cloud-crowned mountains of the area. The mill works with a network of 500 smallholder farmers growing on plots around 2,000 masl, and is equipped with more than 600 African raised drying beds. Importer Trabocca connected with Tsegay and first visited Sasaba in 2012, and the partnership has run since 2013. This washed lot follows the roastery's Sasaba Natural release, with a 48-72 hour fermentation and 7-8 days of drying on raised beds in the sun.”
