“Muchagara Washing Station sits in Kirinyaga on the slopes of Mount Kenya, where 1,200-1,700 smallholders deliver ripe cherries to the Baragwi Farmers' Cooperative Society. Cherries are hand-selected before pulping, fully washed in grading channels and slowly dried on raised African beds. Axil roasts it for filter. Notes: dried apricot, pear cider, lemon and date.”
