“Las Brujas is a small, closely held plot inside the Kotowa estate in Boquete, Panama, managed by Ricardo Koyner and the same micro-region that produces Kotowa's Best of Panama auction lots. Sourcing partner John Vaz Matias picked this natural Geisha for Apollon's Gold's anniversary release and scored it 93 points, the highest he has given the roaster. In the cup: tart raspberry, rose, lychee and sweet cantaloupe, with the roaster recommending 13.5-14 g to 255 ml. This lot is the roastery's festival surplus batch, roasted in early September and released fully rested.”
