Castillo is a hybrid cultivar developed for disease resistance, but this lot at 2,100 meters demonstrates the variety's exceptional quality potential, having placed in top 10 positions at Cup of Excellence competitions. The super high grown terroir drives intense fruit character with juicy grape acidity, ripe blackcurrant, and sweet white strawberry notes throughout the cup.”
