“Armando Soncco was born in 1975 in the Belen district of Sandia Valley in the Puno region of southern Peru. He has been involved in coffee cultivation since childhood and now runs a small family farm together with his family. The farm uses shade-grown methods with native trees including cedar, pacay, and copal. Armando's approach is simple and consistent: careful cherry selection, controlled fermentation, washed processing, and low-temperature drying on raised beds. His goal is stable, clean flavor rather than experimental processing.”
