“Gondo is one of three washing stations run by the New Kiriti Farmers Cooperative Society in Murang'a, central Kenya, and its 560 members deliver hand-picked cherry from plots above 1,900 m on the red volcanic soils below the Aberdare range. This lot gets the classic Kenyan treatment: dry fermentation overnight, washing in grading channels, then a 24 to 48 hour soak in clean water. SL28, SL34, K7 and Ruiru 11; 88 points, roasted light for filter.”
