Highlights
“Ayele Adola farms ten hectares in Harruu, a district of Garbicho in Guji, and presides over the local coffee cooperative; his plot yields around 30 tonnes of cherry a year, roughly 50 exportable bags. This lot is entirely his own fruit, variety 74158, dried whole on African beds for 25 to 30 days in the classic Ethiopian natural style, then rested in large plastic sacks in a shaded warehouse before dry hulling. The cupping table scored it 87 points and Animal roasts it for filter.”
