“Smallholder families grow this coffee in backyard garden plots in Masina Kebele, Adola Woreda, and deliver cherry to the Guji Masina washing station, built in 2017 by Project Origin and exporter Primrose. The washed lot ferments 12 to 24 hours and dries 10 to 15 days on raised African beds, then is graded G1 - a station whose Masina coffee helped win the 2018 World Barista Championship.”
