Often associated with Ethiopian landrace varieties, it is known for producing particularly aromatic, high-scoring coffees, and takes its name from the distinctive pink hue of the ripe cherries. Grown and processed with care it delivers exceptional clarity and a vivid expression of fruit and florals; when it is not well cared for it can taste peppery and rubbery. High risk, high reward.”
