“Winter Gold comes from the high slopes of Burni Telong and Bur Ni Geureudong in Sumatra's Gayo Highlands, a Typica lot produced by Central Sumatera Coffee with a small group of growers in Bener Meriah, Aceh. Cherries are kept whole and dried slowly in carefully managed layers on patios, which concentrates their sweetness while keeping the cup clean. 49th Parallel roasts it as a medium espresso: juicy watermelon and ripe mango first, then dark chocolate and caramel, a creamy body and balanced fruit acidity with a lingering chocolate finish.”
