Highlights
“Dobenawicho is in the highlands of Aleta Wondo, southern Sidama, around 1,800 masl, where regional Ethiopian landraces are grown for this lot. Ripe cherries are sorted and depulped, fermented in water, then dried slowly on raised beds. 49th Parallel roasts it medium-light for filter and sells it in the holiday collection. The cup is bright and layered: fragrant jasmine, ripe peach and sweet lemonade, with brown sugar sweetness and a silky, tea-like body leading into a citrus and floral finish that grows as the coffee cools.”
