Recipe for Kon Mountain Deobia Natural coffee:
- Background: Classic Kon Mountain profile with orange, berries, strawberry, and floral notes.
- Goal: Increase extraction to enhance floral and acidity while maintaining body.
- Grinder: K Ultra 8.5 on the coarser side.
- Filter: Ora paper filter, Wave, with negotiator for no bypass brew.
- Pouring: Slow pours (50g in 13-15 seconds).
- Pours: Five pours: 50g, 50g, 50g, 50g, 40g (adjust last pour for strength).
- Variations:
- Adjust the last pour (30g for more strength, 50g for less strength/more acidity).
- Adjust grind size based on filter paper (Khalida paper requires finer grind).
- Origami wave paper is similar to Ora paper.
- Preparation: Wet the paper filter and use a negotiator to minimize bypass.
