A recommended AeroPress technique designed for reliable, high-quality coffee every time.
- For a medium roast, 90 to 95 might be a sweet spot
- For a really dark roast, I'd be brewing even under 90 degrees Celsius, down maybe at 85.
- You can use any type of kettle
- Use 11g of coffee, ground at the finer end of medium
- Use 200g of water, brought to a boil and used immediately.
- Do not rinse or preheat the brewer.
Recipe Steps
Put the filter into the cap and put coffee into the brewer.

Start a timer, then pour 200ml in and getting all coffee wet as quick as possible, get all the coffee nice and evenly saturated.

Then immediately place the piston piece into the top of the brewer, about 1cm in.
Move Aeropree off the scale, Wait for 2 minutes.

After 2 minutes, Holding the brewer and the piston, gently swirl the brewer.

Wait 30 seconds.
