Tips & Preparation
Recipe for Picolot and light roast coffee using Orea Z1 brewer:
- Water:
- Use a diluted Third Wave Water concentrate (1 stick Classic in 1 gallon distilled water).
- Mix 100 ml of concentrate with 400 ml of distilled water (1:3.5 to 1:4 ratio preferred).
- Grind Size:
- 078: 6-6.5
- ZP6: 5-5.5
- Target brew time: 2.5 - 3 minutes
- Variations:
- Adjust temperature based on preference (higher for more acidity, lower for less astringency).
- Adjust the final pour to control body and flavor extension (less water for more body, more water for flavor extension).
