Tips & Preparation
Key notes:
- Seating the paper filter correctly is important for even extraction: pinch the tip from below and gently pull, then hold the top to wet the filter to set it.
- Deep 27 brewer is fast, so agitation is key to avoid underextraction.
- Stock filters are preferred over V60 filters.
- Grind size is important due to the short contact time.
- Keep the water level low to avoid bypass.
- Use center or small circle pours to avoid bypass.

Recipe Steps
Wet the filter and add 10g coffee ground.

Bloom pour: with 30g water for 1 minute.

1st Pour: Start pulsing water until a few centimeters above the bed, let it drain down.
2nd Pour: Just as the bed running dry, start the next pour.
3rd Pour: Continue pulsing water
A total of 8-9 pulses water pours, maintaining the water level, until reach 17g total.
