Reasons to try:
- Similar to a Lungo Shot espresso by AeroPress.
- Result will be syrupy, rich & body.
- Within just 2 mins.
Preparation:
- Grind 18g of coffee medium fine (1.5 on ZP6).
- Add 27g of room temperature water initially.
- Follow with 47g of boiling water.
- Aims for 6-7% TDS and 18-21% extraction yield.
Notes:
- Can be enjoyed as is, diluted, or used in recipes like James Hoffman's tiramisu.
Recipe Steps
Grind 18g of coffee medium fine and put ground coffee in aeropress with paper filter.
Add a top filter, use plunger tamp flat.

Add 27g of room temperature water.
Gently seal, press and release with your plunger to drive the soaking process until there is no water column above the paper filter and you'll see a first droplet.
Add 47g of boiling water.
Insert your plunger to just above the number 4, keep it there to drain your coffee.
