Tips & Preparation
- Plastic V60 recommended for heat retention; preheat other materials well.
- Grind size: 24 clicks on a C40 (720 microns), or 12-13 on a Baratza Encore.
- Best dose range: 15-25 grams (adjust grind size or pulse count if outside this range).
- Create a divot in the coffee bed using a thin cylindrical object (chopstick, pin, brush handle) to ensure even saturation with minimal compression.
- For darker roasts, lower the water temperature to reduce extraction.
- Target TDS: 1.35-1.45

Second bloom: Pour to rid the rest of the CO2.
